Terms of service
Last updated 16 October 2026
1. Who we are
NextLiftoff is run by [to be completed], [to be completed], tax ID [to be completed], email [to be completed] (“we”). These terms are the rules for providing electronic services under the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means.
2. What the service is
NextLiftoff is a free website with information about rocket launches and related events: schedules, countdowns, links to live streams, rocket and provider details, an archive, statistics and a 3D globe. Optional features: a watchlist kept in your browser, calendar files and feeds, an RSS feed, and launch reminders sent as browser notifications.
3. Technical requirements
A device with internet access and a current version of a common web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with JavaScript enabled. The 3D globe needs WebGL. Reminders need a browser that supports web push notifications and your permission to show them.
4. Starting and ending the service
The service starts when you open the site and ends when you leave it. Reminders start when you turn them on and end when you turn them off on the Watchlist page or revoke notification permission in your browser. Using the site is free and needs no account.
5. Rules of use
Do not use the site against the law, overload it on purpose (for example with automated scraping), or try to break its security. You may not provide unlawful content; the site does not accept content from users.
6. Accuracy
Launch times change often and our data comes from public sources, mainly The Space Devs' Launch Library. We show it as received and cannot guarantee that it is complete, correct or up to date. Launch paths on the globe are approximations, not real trajectories. Do not rely on NextLiftoff where wrong information could cause harm. NextLiftoff is not affiliated with any launch provider or space agency.
7. Intellectual property
The site's design, code and texts belong to us, except third-party material listed on the credits and licences page, which is used under its own licence. Names and marks of rockets, companies and agencies belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
8. Complaints
Send complaints about the service to [to be completed], describing the problem. We reply within 14 days. Consumers can also use out-of-court dispute resolution, for example through the municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa).
9. Liability
The service is provided free of charge and as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by relying on launch information or by interruptions of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers have under mandatory law.
10. Personal data
See the privacy policy.
11. Changes and law
We may change these terms for important reasons (for example changes in the law or in the service) and will publish the new version here at least 7 days before it applies. Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of the protection of the law of their country of residence.
